About Us
Madagascar Underground is the best youth hostel in the capital since 2014 ! It is a must-see place for housing, dining and experiencing local culture. If you come to Madagascar, you should stay with us. Of course, you will be staying at our place but you'll feel like home !

Even though our hostel is located in the hub of the capital, you will be isolated from the hubbub and noise of the city as it is located in a very peaceful street. Worn-out travelers will find comfort, peace and quiet, a cozy bed, nice dishes and company....
The place is modern, brilliantly designed and equipped so that you can recharge energies throughout your stay! ! You will have at your disposal two patios, a quiet corner to read or meditate, a restaurant with Mexican specialties, a multipurpose hall (cinema, games, TV, karaoke, etc.) and a bar. Moreover, your privacy is our priority!

To make sure that your stay will be a success, please note that :
- You can cancel your reservation 72 hours before your arrival
- The payment is made on arrival in cash, mobile money or with a credit card.
- Check-in at any time, Check-out before 11 am
- No curfew.
- Pets are allowed. (with some conditions)
- Security is guaranteed.
- Day use is possible

Ours Rooms
Madagascar Underground offers rooms for all needs and for all budgets. Therefore, whether you come alone, as a lover, with your friends or with your family, there is a suitable room ready for you here! !
The Ensuite Room
If you need quiet and privacy, cette chmabre est faite pour vous ! Vous y trouverez un lit double, un bureau, un canapé et private bathroom. If needed, we can add an extra bed. By staying in this room, you will have at your disposal a space of your own.
The Blue
This room offers a view on the street, but this feature will not disturb your night's rest. In fact, this is a double room but you can stay single or with another person there. Feel home! This one is so comfy that people who have stayed there found it hard to leave.
The Rose
Do you need plenty of space, tranquility and privacy? Go for La Rose! Its decoration charms most of our hosts and it is a double room. Of course, it is a secured room and even if it is in the heart of the establishment, it is quiet and excellent to recover!
Our Dormitories
Since Madagascar Underground is a hostel worthy of its name, you will find two dormitories in the building: one for females and one for males. Of course, each dormitory contains bunk beds and each bed is quite comfortable. Those who take a bed in one of our dormitories will automatically get cozy bed lines and a clean towel!
Male Dormitory
Having a bed in the male dormitory also grants you a secure rack to store your belongings. You just need to take the padlock at the reception. You don't even have to bring your own sheets and blankets, you'll be served at MU!
Female Dormitory
The female dormitories have their own bathrooms and like all the other rooms, quietness and privacy are preserved. Your belongings will be safe and secure as you will have your own individual locker.
Our BUNGALOWS
Madagascar Underground's bungalows are made for those who like to be alone in their own space. Not only will you have your own bathroom, but each bungalow is equipped with a cozy double bed and storage space. You can even leave your room safely .

Comme j’ai voyagé en bus, j’ai dû revenir beaucoup à Tana. Chaque fois que je suis revenu au MU, c’était super. On se sentait presque comme à la maison. La cuisine mexicaine était bonne ! Il y a un distributeur de billets de l’autre côté de la rue et à quelques minutes à pied vous êtes au supermarché ou au centre-ville.
